I Am the Master of My Fate

The following words are from the poem “Invictus,” written by William Henley in 1875. Invictus means unconquerable or undefeated.

—I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul in the fell of circumstances.

I am the master of my fate

—I am the captain of my soul.

You are in charge: you have the power. Use these formidable words, or any you prefer.

There is nothing you cannot do!

Never surrender! Do not quit!

Be your own leader!

Be a Top Gun! or whatever metaphor works for you!

Prayer, meditation, all will help you on your journey to a lifetime of weight management health. Never underestimate the power of prayer and/or altered states such as meditation or self-hypnosis.
