Men

GENTLEMEN — Would you prefer to win the battle over food and finally stay at your ideal weight?

Obesity is a clear factor in the causation of erectile dysfunction (ED).

It is clear that ED is more prevalent, and one clue is the flood of commercials for testosterone supplementation.

Some Facts:

A Harvard study disclosed that weight loss can improve ED in overweight men.

Obese men are 2.5 times more likely to experience ED than men of normal body weight.

Losing weight can improve male fertility, as healthy weight is correlated with a rise in sperm count.

Overweight men may have more estrogen. Another risk factor for ED is low levels of testosterone, which also is consistent with obesity.

Obese men may have elevated cholesterol, high BP, diabetes, and hypertension.

All of the aforementioned facts contribute to erectile dysfunction.
